Blessed Be Blessed Be my Mystery Mongers!
Darkness...beautiful it can be, frightening it can be, alluring it can be, my death, it can be.
Darkness has always been associated with something negative, forbidden, mysterious yet oh-so-intriguing. I have always considered Night or for me what Darkness signifies, as a woman. This woman is beautiful - with a perfect flowing body, her silvery mane like cold soft breeze, her lips kissed red like the rising moon and her eyes twinkling like a mischievous child. Yet, she is alone. Waiting for someone, something. But before she can meet her better-half, the Sun rises and snatches away all her hopes. Yet, she comes back every time, moves, craves and watches the lone lovers waiting to touch one another, yearning from distances, waiting for her to come and give their hearts - life.
And one such time, the Night decides to give up. The beautiful woman decides to throw herself into the ocean from where, the Oblivious Sun rises every day, not knowing what he does to this lone woman. She moves towards the ocean, glittering and shimmering expanse of water. Blue, Green and Black - the confluence of shades in her shadow, remind her of the agony brought by love. And then she sees him, her better half, embracing her...the Sky. She then realizes, he has always been with her. Walking, flowing, changing, merging into her. Loving her truly. Her sky used to become bruised by the twilight, Purple, Blue, Gray to welcome her. For his Night, he used to submerge, finish and forget his being. Tears fell from her twinkling eyes as she moved up to him...to make him hers...the final love, embracing the world...with her immense feelings, drenching the people in love, with hope and another moment - to rejoice.
The Night Song for her Beloved Sky.

The Night Song for her Beloved Sky.
Hold my hands, my feet on sand;
Take me away to the distant land.
Where memories fade, words unmade;
My heart that bled, for now to heal;
With your steady tread.
Lost forever in this confounding labyrinth;
Breathing cold and burning up, on this stony plinth.
Awaiting your touch, when the Darkness is true;
That cut up moon, shines down on me blue.
I close my eyes and see my love, my death,
The cold iced Ocean, to swallow me in, reveals its lonely depths.
A forgotten brush of your finger tips,
Shows us a chance not yet missed,
Blow my pain away, kiss my lips turned gray,
Breathe your life, your love today;
Into me, burn the light, like that Sun in day.
I move up and see him there,
Bruised and Blued waiting, calling me near,
My Sky was a man true to his words;
Merged bodies and minds, he bore scars from Swords*,
I embrace him, the love lost is found;
My tears drench the world, Lovers meet;
Satiating their longings abound.
Most mysterious of feelings, to get lost in someone, whom you cannot see or touch, because the distances are so vast, they seem parallel, never converging - love that can be, fear that can be, obsession that can be, acceptance that can be. For you, anything I can be. Blessed be my beloved people. Let us not bind ourselves into the confines and norms of the society or the world...let's listen to our hearts once and rejoice.
PS: *Swords here represent lightening which brighten the sky, making the night disappear for briefest of seconds. Till the next time people, this one is for my love. You, never take anyone you love, for granted. Blessed be Again!
